¡Despierta Y Lucha!

Ancient prophecies awaken and new heroes rise up in BattleMex, the world's first Aztec Super Sentai comic series. Written by David A. Rodriguez and gloriously illustrated by Stefano Simeone, this epic action series follows three young heroes, chosen by mystical nagual gems, to stand against the sinister and ancient entity known as El Cuco… the Boogeyman.

Where the adventure begins

Set in New Aztlán, an alternate version of Mexico that was never conquered, BattleMex leverages familiar anime tropes (tokusatsu, kaiju and magical transformation) and blends them with Mexican culture to bring a Hispanic-Futurist world to life.

The Heroes

Our three, young heroes were chosen by ancient nagual gems of power when they were just children. The gems allow the bearer to call on the abilities of their animal spirits and shapeshift into their unique guardian forms. They were trained in a secret government program called "Guardian Battleforce Mexica" by Eliza’s mother, as part of her relentless efforts to prepare for the coming battle.
